A S Harrison & Co has an extensive range of nutritional ingredients including fruit powders, fibres, and dried seeds to meet increasing demand for healthy food options.

Ingredients company A S Harrison & Co says its range of premium ingredients with high nutritional values is curated for manufacturers looking to develop new products to appeal to consumers looking for healthy, functional options.

The fruit powders undergo trademarked REV technology to keep the raw materials’ natural flavour, colour, and aroma. A growing range of unique powders, such as Tahitian and Sutil lime, add to its already extensive range of conventional and organic product list. These are ideal for formulation because they add a premium taste and flavour profile.

The A S Harrison & Co portfolio consists of nine dietary fibres with some organic options being available. The fibres have undergone five types of granulation ranging from 10-micron super fine to 600-micron powders.

Fibre content of the products vary from 30 to 80 per cent dietary fibre, allowing customers to have nutritional or health claims, which can increase the star rating of their product.

Its fibre range includes cocoa, oat, apple, carrot, blackcurrant, aronia, rye, wheat, and organic varieties.

The company’s innovative, natural dried fruit seeds can help give products a ‘natural look’ and are available in strawberry, raspberry, passion fruit, kiwi, fig, cranberry, and blackcurrant varieties.

The dried seeds are processed by hot air drying, sieving, and cleaning. The final product has eight per cent moisture with zero foreign material to provide a Class 1 premium seed.

The A S Harrison & Co food team can answer any questions and provide more information about the company’s range and how the premium nutritional based ingredients can make the healthy difference to product formulations.
