European based inspection equipment manufacturer, Antares Vision Group, is launching a new generation range of modular systems able to integrate individual inspection devices, including x-ray, checkweigher, leak detector, seal, code and label inspection modules, into a single machine.
The range aims to allow food manufacturers to select what equipment suits their specific production line. All the modules are designed specifically for the food industry, with a hygienic construction featuring quick-removal conveyors and a completely washable structure.
Materials manufacturer, Enmin, was appointed as the exclusive Australian representative for Antares’ food industry inspection equipment in July, and will be supplying the modular range to local industry.
Enmin’s inspection & packaging sales manager, Phillip Garro, said Antares’ all in one inspection machine is a game changer for the food industry, able to combine multiple processes and reduce the product’s footprint.
“The all in one system takes flexibility and productivity to the next level. Now food processors just need one machine to carry out all of their end of line inspections,” said Garro.
“For maximum convenience and efficiency, all the modules can be controlled through a single control screen.”
A popular combination of modules includes an x-ray, checkweigher, and leak detection, to provide a comprehensive inspection of a product.
The LDS module checks the correct sealing of the package, detecting any micro-leaks. The absence of foreign bodies is ensured by an X-ray inspection system, and the weighing unit identifies packages out-of-weight tolerance.
The weighing unit features the latest load cell technology and is designed to operate with accuracy of plus or minus 0.2g (subject to operating environment). A double rejection system completes the solution.
“In the short period since we launched Antares Vision Group into the Australian market, we’ve had a very positive reception to the company’s range of machines. The equipment offers cutting edge design and the latest technology at a competitive price point,” said Garro.
“And of course, customers can expect the same outstanding service, back up and support that Enmin has built its reputation on for the last 40 years.”
