Materials manufacturer, Enmin, has been appointed as the exclusive Australian representative for Antares Vision Group, a European based inspection equipment manufacturer.

Enmin will be responsible for marketing Antares’ complete food industry product range, which covers metal detection, checkweighing, x-ray inspection, in-line leak and seal detection and label and code inspection.

Combination metal detector and checkweigher

Enmin will be bringing one of Antares’ most popular products to the Australian market – a compact 2-in-1 metal detector and checkweigher, which is designed to ensure any metal contaminants are removed and weight correctness is confirmed.

Designed for the food industry, it features quick-removal conveyors and a washable structure. A double rejection system keeps contaminated products separated to those with out-of-tolerance weight.

The machine features the latest inspection technology and high-quality components. The main support structure is constructed of stainless steel, whilst the moving aluminium parts are coated with hard nickel and anodised for maximum durability.

The metal detector can detect products with uneven physical characteristics and light metallised wrappers, guaranteeing any metal contaminants are removed, and the weighing unit features the latest load cell technology, designed to operate with an accuracy of plus or minus 0.2g.

Enmin sales manager Inspection & Packaging, Phillip Garo, will be responsible for the sales and customer support of the Antares Vision Group brand, and said that the combination metal detector and checkweigher offers outstanding performance at a competitive price point.

“It takes quality control to the next level and provides an added level of security and reassurance. Additionally, you get the space benefit that only a single machine with a small footprint can offer,” said Garo.

“Given Antares Vision Group’s extensive range and successful track record in Europe, we are confident the products will prove popular in Australia with a diverse range of food manufacturers.”

The metal detector checkweigher comes in a range of models, with weight control between 3.2-12kg for different sized products. For more information and product enquiry, head to Enmin’s website at enmin.com.au.
