German drive components manufacturer, Nord Drivesystems, has introduced its Nordac Pro frequency inverters to the market, to support machinery that requires precise and controlled movements.

In the food and beverage industry, precision is key. One example is the safe and efficient cutting of products such as bread, meat or cheese. Nord’s frequency inverters can be programmed to precisely control the contact pressure of the relevant food product in cutting machines, aiming to achieve consistent cutting quality.

The frequency inverters can also exercise precise speed control for a balanced production process, essential in bottling for liquid products.

Nord products can also be integrated via Ethernet to allow for remote maintenance of the system, checking components for errors and evaluating any recorded data of the frequency inverter for high system reliability.

Nord has been developing drive technology for 60 years, producing modular, customisable solutions for over 100 industries globally.

Nord Drivesystems has been supplying mechanical and electronic drive components to the Australian market since 2009, with headquarters in Melbourne, and sales offices in Brisbane and Sydney.
