Australian wine brand, 19 Crimes, is releasing a new limited edition line of wines, including a Shiraz and Chardonnay. The wine will be showcased at Melbourne venue, The Shady Lady, on 25-26 October in a frightening Possessed Wine Bar experience.

The Hard Chard has a palate with notes of melon and stone fruit, supported by a creamy oak backbone. The fruit sweetness is balanced by acidity, which drives the lingering finish of butterscotch and spice. A full and round flavour with a subtle sweetness describes the Shiraz. The vanilla aromatics compliment flavours of raspberries, dark plums, and chocolate, with a lingering finish.

The bottles for the new range will feature glow-in-the-dark labels, and characters Dracula and Frankenstein. 19 Crimes wine will be available at a special deal across the two day event, along with three specialised cocktails, The Frankenstein, Vlad’s Revenge, and A Spirit Spritzer.

19 Crimes spokesperson, Nick Powell, said the event will encourage people to embrace their curious dark side and have a night of fun in the lead up to Halloween.

“With 21 per cent of Australians planning to hold or attend adult Halloween parties, it is case in point that the spooky season is no longer just about trick-or-treating,” said Powell.

“19 Crimes has long been a rebellious brand, so we’ve welcomed the chance to break the rules
and create a bar that truly brings our ethos to life. The Possessed Wine Bar has the perfect
amount of fright and delight that will keep people coming back for more - and to top it off, cocktails, wine and entertainment.”

19 Crimes Halloween wine range is available now at bottle shops nationwide, only until the end of October.
