Aldi Australia has kicked off its Christmas season specials, bringing in a range of new and returning products across the carefully curated seafood, freezer, and premium categories.
The company is doubling its freezer range this year, as new research commissioned by Aldi and conducted by YouGov has revealed 66 per cent of Australians are using frozen dishes in their Christmas spreads. The frozen range will include a brand new convenience segment, Christmas Favourites, to help consumers save time for celebration.
Among returning favourites and 13 new products in the seafood section are the Premium Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter Glaze, Australian Tiger Prawns, Salmon Wellington with Cheese and Dill Sauce, and Premium Extra-Large Scallops wrapped in Maple Flavoured Bacon.
Aldi Australia’s shopping expert, Kylie Warnke, said Aldi’s 2024 seafood range offers the highest-quality product at the lowest possible prices, ensuring that consumers will have the freedom to go a little extra this Christmas.
“Christmas is all about cherishing moments with loved ones. That’s why our seafood options are crafted not only to be budget-friendly but also incredibly convenient,” said Warnke.
“With our delicious selections ready in no time, Aussies can spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying socialising with family and friends.”
This year’s luxury Curated Collection includes four new additions; Luxury English Brittle, Enrobed Honeycomb, Florentines, and Gourmet Biscuit Selection. Fan favourites such as the 30 Month Matured Pudding and Pavlova Style Christmas Fudge are returning for the season.
