Brisbane based family-owned snack company, Majans, is launching a new range of South Asian Style Street Snacks – Bhuja Desi Snacks. The three flavours, Aloo Bhuja, Murukku, and Papdi Gathiya will be available in select Woolworths stores from February.

The creators of popular snack ranges Bhuja and Infuzions, Majans is staying focused on its mission to provide healthy and sustainable snacks, without compromising on flavour. Bhuja Desi Snacks combine taste and tradition in a convenient 'Tear'n'Share' bag.

The range includes:

  • Aloo Bhuja: A crispy noodle snack with a 2.5 Health Star Rating made with yellow peas and potatoes. Powered by plant protein, this vegan-friendly snack contains no artificial colours or flavours and is certified gluten-free.
  • Murukku: A crunchy rice snack with a 2 Star Health Rating. This vegan-friendly snack blends spices and chilli, is free from artificial colours and flavours, and is certified gluten-free.
  • Papdi Gathiya: A spicy snack with a 2.5 Health Star Rating featuring crispy, golden chips infused with fragrant spices. Plant-powered protein and certified gluten-free, this snack contains no artificial colours or flavours.

Majans Bhuja Desi Snacks are available in select Woolworths stores from 3 February.

Opal is assuring its packaging grade customers that its contingency plans mean supply will continue without interruption, as the lockout of its 308 workers at the Maryvale Mill enters its fourth week.
