Charlie’s founder Jacky Magid said the bites were more than just biscuits. “They’re crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth bites of cheesy deliciousness. It is real food made using quality ingredients,” Magid said.

Mini Cheese Bites come in three flavours – Three Cheeses, Cheddar & Rosemary, and Parmesan & Tomato.

Magid said they’re worth keeping on hand for when friends pop over. “They can be devoured with a scoop of dip, a chunk of cheese or with condiments. You can even eat them by themselves.”

Charlie’s Fine Foods has been baking gourmet cookies and treats for 25 years, with the Mini Cheese Bites its first foray into the savoury market. “We added the new savoury range to meet a growing demand for a premium savoury offering. All our products are made using premium ingredients and the mini bites draws upon our 25-year history of making seriously delicious products,” Magid said.

Charlie’s Mini Cheese Bites are now available at Woolworths stores nationally for RRP $4.00.

APCO has released its 2022-23 Australian Packaging Consumption and Recovery Data Report, the second report released this year in line with its commitment to improving timeliness and relevance of data.

The AFGC has welcomed government progress towards implementing clear, integrated and consistent changes to packaging across Australia, but says greater clarity is needed on design standards.

It’s been a tumultuous yet progressive year in packaging in Australia, with highs and lows playing out against a backdrop of uncertainty caused in part by the dangling sword of DCCEEW’s proposed Packaging Reform, and in part by the mounting pressure of rising manufacturing costs.
