Family-owned business, Double ‘D’ Sweets, has landed in Aldi stores nationwide, with its better-for-you Smart Sweets joining the supermarket’s range.

Double ‘D’ Sweets has been making confectionery in Australia since the 1920s, maintaining a commitment to delivering on both taste and wellness. Manufactured in the company’s Sydney factory, Smart Sweets are the first Australian-made gummies to earn a 5-star health rating.

With just 50 calories per bag, the health-conscious sweets are high in prebiotic fibre and low in sugar.

Double ‘D’ Sweets managing director, Justin Hughes, said the company takes pride in making a high-quality product that everyone can enjoy, and is excited to see Smart Sweets now available in Aldi stores.

“Smart Sweets prove that you don’t have to compromise on taste to make a better choice,” said Hughes.

“As a family-owned business, we’ve always prioritised quality, using the best ingredients on the market and innovative processes to create sweets that stand out. Partnering with Aldi helps us bring these better-for-you gummies to more Australians than ever before.”

The range includes three flavours – Fruits & Cream, Berry, and Sour – and is now available at Aldi for RRP $2.00, as well as online and in other major and independent supermarkets across the country.
