Kraft Heinz has launched a controversial new flavour of its classic Tomato Ketchup – a unique Pickle Flavoured twist on the classic.

The pairing of pickle and tomato comes together in Heinz Pickle Flavoured Ketchup, which the company states is sure to thrill both pickle fans and ketchup lovers nationwide.

The new flavour combines the classic taste of tomato ketchup with dill pickle flavour, for a tangy and delicious sauce that can go with just about anything.

Kraft Heinz head of taste elevation, Andrea Payne, said Heinz Tomato Ketchup inspires irrational love and Australians can be a little bit irrational when it comes to the foods they love.

β€œIn fact, our recent research found that three-quarters of Australians (76 per cent) admit to being incredibly passionate about food,” said Payne.

Heinz Pickle Flavoured Ketchup is now available in-store at Coles and will be in Woolworths and Metcash stores nationwide from 14 October for RRP $5.00.
