Chocolatier Koko Black is bringing in the new year with two limited edition product ranges for Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day.
Koko Black is ushering in the Year of the Dragon by unveiling a range of chocolate treats. Among these is a bespoke 48-piece light up Lunar Lantern containing a nine-layered gold foil tower that holds a variety of 48 pralines.
Joining the Lunar Lantern is the Eight-Piece Lucky Lunar Pralines (with four assortments of the fruity-sweet treat), the 25-Piece Chocolatier’s Collection, and the brand-new Sichuan Pepper Praline. Blending smooth white chocolate with mandarin ganache, this rich dark chocolate praline heroes the added flavour of the Sichuan pepper.
For Valentine’s Day, it is launching a series of gift boxes, including a 30-piece Lots of Love Gift Box filled with pralines, and a 14-piece Be My Valentine Gift Box, which the company says is also an ideal size for sharing or savouring all to yourself. Koko Black is also celebrating its 8-Piece Truffle Collection, filled with a variety of what it says is its finest truffle creations.
Koko Black Head Chocolatier, Remco Brigou warmly welcomes both festivals, and speaks to the wide seasonal appeal of the Australian brand. “Chocolate is for everyone, so what’s most important to us chocolatiers is that we unite people with our creations.
“Lunar New Year is a significant celebration for our Australasian community, and we’re thrilled to be a part of the festive occasion. By launching our Lunar Lantern, we hope that Koko Black is not only an integral part of the gifting and tasting celebrations, but is the light to the ceremony,” he said.
“A box of chocolates is a Valentine’s Day tradition that grows in demand every year. With our beautiful new range, we’re ensuring that everyone can accommodate those they want to show their appreciation for,” Brigou concluded.
