A Pacific Ale and Hazy IPA have joined West Australian brewery Little Creatures' stable as the brewery celebrates turning 21. Head brewer Russ Gosling said the Pacific Ale is reminiscent of summer.

“Little Creatures Pacific Ale has a soft fizz and passionfruit aroma, with a slightly dry yet super refreshing finish. The Pacific Ale captures all the big hop tropical flavours without the bitterness – delivering a fresh, session-able brew perfect for the summer months,” said Gosling.

The Pacific Ale will join Little Creatures’ Pale Ale, XPA, Roges and a new Hazy IPA in the core range.

The Hazy IPA is set to be released in cans towards the end of August. Gosling said IPAs are seeing exponential growth in Australia with hazy IPAs leading the way.

“Our previous IPA was more of a west coast style, which was quite hop-forward, but our new Hazy IPA has bigger, juicier, fruitier flavours. This is really the first of many IPA innovations you can expect to see from Little Creatures over the next little while,” said Gosling.

The anniversary is also being celebrated with the addition of Little Creatures’ signature Pale Ale cans and its XPA in cans. The new branding pays homage to the brewery’s much-loved cherub as the centrepiece.

The Pacific Ale is available nationally in a four pack for RRP $19. The Hazy IPA will be available from the end of August in a four pack for RRP $24.
