Mars Food Australia brand, MasterFoods, has expanded its partnership with ready-to-eat meal company, My Muscle Chef – launching three high-protein recipe bases.

The brands first partnered in February, releasing three spice blends, Chimichurri, Peri Peri and Chipotle, with 16 calories or less per serve.

At the time, MasterFoods Australia strategic category and brand lead, Nigel Pinto, said that “nailing the flavour for a meal can be the hardest part of cooking, with protein often being the most expensive part of the meal we all want to get it right.”

With the new line of Recipe Bases that are packed with protein and ready in under 30 minutes, the collaboration is sure to be appealing to Australians cooking at home.

The three flavours are caramelised Korean BBQ Beef; smoky and spicy Chipotle Chicken; and Cajun Mince, a blend of warming spices with a lingering heat.

MasterFoods x My Muscle Chef Recipe Bases are available at Woolworths, Coles and independent supermarkets for RRP $3.50.
