A new premium drinks brand has hit the Australian market, with two flavoured tequila cocktails – Neurita Tequila Citrus and Neurita Tequila Rosa.

Launched in 2022 and founded by entrepreneur Lucy Smith, Neurita Tequila is shaking up the industry with its fruit extract infused cocktails. Neurita works with Mexican distillery Casa Orendain, infusing its smoothest agave tequila blanco to create lower sugar cocktail options.

Unlike other traditional Tequilas on the market, Neurita Tequila is naturally infused with s to make the perfect base for tequila cocktails including margaritas with no need for triple sec or sugary liquors.

“Much of the insight and inspiration for Neurita was based on what we were seeing in the Australian market, chic margaritas being used as a simple solution for the ultimate ladies night out and in,” said Smith.

“We know Australians love a cheeky Marg and we are so thrilled to finally bring Neurita Tequila to Australia and have our consumers experience Neurita’s ‘Marg O’clock’.”

The London based company is shortlisted for the Spirits Business Global Tequila brand of the year 2024, and has already sold 320,000 Neurita Tequila Margaritas.

Neurita Tequila is available nationwide at Liquorland and First Choice Liquor, for RRP $65.00 per bottle.
