Street’s Golden Gaytime is entering the health and wellbeing category for the first time, with the launch of the limited edition Golden Gaytime-Inspired Almond Protein Powder from health food and supplement company, Macro Mike.

In a deal brokered by brand engagement agency, Asembl, on behalf of Unilever Australia’s Street’s Golden Gaytime, the plant-based nutritional powder delivers over 23g of protein per serve, with a flavour inspired by the classic ice-cream.

Unilever general manager ice cream ANZ, Scott Mingl, said Golden Gaytime ice cream has been a beloved treat for Australians for generations.

“Its delightful combination of caramel and chocolate, coated in a crunchy biscuit crumb, delivers a scrumptious and satisfying blend of flavours and textures,” said Mingl.

“We are super excited about this collaboration with the Macro Mike Golden Almond Protein range as it brings together the nostalgic taste of Golden Gaytime with the added nutritional benefits of protein making it a delicious and wholesome choice.”

Gluten-free, dairy-free, and made in-house at Macro Mike’s production facility, the Golden Gaytime-Inspired Almond Protein Powder has been made with premium almond protein known for its smooth texture and rich taste.

Asembl Managing Director Justin Watson said, “We are thrilled to see Unilever Australia’s Street’s Golden Gaytime enter the exciting health and wellbeing category for the first time through this partnership with Macro Mike.

“This limited edition deal not only sees Golden Gaytime again land outside the freezer aisle but sees the Aussie classic ice-cream come to tasty life as a smooth, creamy, and delicious plant-based protein powder that rivals dairy-based ones.”

The Golden Gaytime-Inspired Almond Protein Powder is available exclusively online at macromike.com.au for RRP $29.95 (240g), $52.95 (400g) and $79.95 (800g).
