Following the sold-out success of last year’s inaugural Foodpreneurs Festival, founder Chelsea Ford says this week's event is bigger and better. It is running on 16-17 May at Swissôtel Sydney.

A new addition to the event, the Founder’s Luncheon, is being held on 16 May. An intimate, Chatham House Rule gathering, gives attendees a rare face-to-face with the who’s who of the emerging and challenger food and beverage world.

Ford said it’s a targeted forum for passionate entrepreneurs with a packaged food or drink brand to connect directly with other foodpreneurs.

“It includes those early on in their growth journey to seasoned food innovators and industry trailblazers with million-dollar brands. It’s an opportunity for honest connections. You don’t get this depth of opportunity to connect anywhere else in our industry.

“Our goal is for people to leave inspired, empowered, and equipped to propel their business to new heights,” Ford said.

The following day, 17 May, is the Foodpreneurs Festival.

“The festival is a year’s worth of sales and promotions opportunities for packaged food, drink & pet food brand owners under the one roof,” Ford said.

You can apply to pitch to retail buyers in the Pitch Hub; discuss your product plans with industry experts on the Express Lane; shake off industry challenges at Happy Hour; expand your network at Collaboration Corner; showcase your product on Stickybeak Station; and hear mistake-saving advice from speakers on the Main Stage.

Limited tickets are still available for both events. Limited tickets are available for both events. More info here.
