Four days after Feral Brewing announced GM Rob Brajkovich was leaving, Banks and Bloom Distillery + Lab says he has been appointed its CEO. Brajkovich will bid beer farewell and turn to spirits starting on 10 July. He'll announced that former Feral Brewing Company general manager  will be joining the team as chief executive officer, commencing 10 July.

Brajkovich's time at Feral Brewing, and past experience in leadership roles for sales (Coles Liquor Group, Endeavour and Independents, as well as Western Australia  field sales), safety, logistics, manufacturing, quality, export, marketing and hospitality, made him an ideal canditate for Banks and Bloom + Lab as it looks to shift from "stealth mode" to a national presence.

Banks and Bloom chair Matt Callahan said Brajkovich brought a wealth of operational management, sales and marketing and production scale up experience to the company.

Brajkovich was also previously a state sales manager with Coca-Cola Amatil and held multiple roles with other global fast moving consumer goods companies, including Asahi Beverages, Campbell Arnotts and Johnson & Johnson.

Callahan said, “Rob’s experience in rapidly scaling beverage companies and expanding the range and profitability of product lines is perfectly suited to the next stage of growth for Banks and Bloom Distillery + Lab.”

Brajkovich's strategic and operational insights would be invaluable to guide the rapid growth of the business as the company transitions into national and international distribution of its vodka, RTD and on-premise focused brands.

Brajkovich said he was excited to bring Banks and Bloom’s latest technology driven beverages to both the Australian and international markets.

“The unique flavours and distillation techniques the team are incorporating into their products will position Banks and Bloom Distillery + Lab to transform their respective categories, as already reflected in their growing list of awards,” said Brajkovich.

He joins COO Trent Carroll, and director of sales and marketing, Shae Dillon, in the senior management team and will be supported by the technical and manufacturing team at the distillery in Perth.

Banks and Bloom Distillery + Lab products are available at leading retailers and venues around Western Australia will national distribution plans underway.
