Global yoghurt company, Chobani Australia, has appointed Connie Biviano as general manager – science & innovation, and Ellie Vince as general manager – marketing, aiming to meet the demands of a dynamic market and further cement its position as a leader in the food and beverage industry.

Chobani appointed Scott Hadley as its new managing director for Australia and New Zealand in April, with a goal to lead the team into the next stage of the company’s journey. Now, the new management assignments will continue this positive trajectory.

The company stated Biviano and Vince bring a powerful combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a passion for innovation that will drive Chobani’s aspiration to be in every fridge, everywhere, every day.

Together, their teams are dedicated to delivering nutritious, high-quality products to more Australians, while expanding Chobani's impact locally and in growing international markets.

Biviano has more than two decades experience in the dairy and food industries, and will oversee Chobani’s science & innovation team. Her expertise spans R&D, dairy technology, and process optimisation, gained from a career with Parmalat/Lactalis, Carman's, and Flavour Makers.

At Chobani, she will lead the charge in product and packaging innovation, focusing on quality and health-forward formulations.

“I am thrilled to join a company whose dedication to natural ingredients, innovation, and nutritious, accessible food aligns so closely with my values,” said Biviano.

“I look forward to driving sustainable outcomes and quality improvements that will not only enhance our products but also create meaningful value for our communities. At Chobani, we have an incredible opportunity to shape the future of food through science, technology, and our shared mission to make a difference.”

Vince is known for her strategic insight and consumer-focused approach, and will head up Chobani’s marketing team. She brings a wealth of experience in brand-building, omni-channel strategies, and campaign execution that fosters deep connections with consumers.

Vince’s vision for Chobani is centered around growing brand awareness and ensuring more Australians experience the quality and purpose behind every product.

“I’m honoured to work with such a talented team on brands Australians know and love,” said Vince.

“Our focus is on sustainable growth by blending creativity and commerciality in ways that surprise and exceed consumer expectations. My goal is to make sure Chobani and Gippsland Dairy play a meaningful role in the daily lives of Australians, and I’m excited to get started.”
