After a selection process involving 400 nominees, the India Australia Business & Community Alliance (IABCA) has announced finalists for the 2024 IABCA Awards, celebrating achievements and contributions to fostering the bilateral relationship between India and Australia. Marquis Marketing, the sales and marketing branch of Marquis Macadamias was nominated in the Excellence in Trade & Investment category.

The Excellence in Trade & Investment category recognises organisations and projects that have generated significant trade and investment opportunities between India and Australia.

Marquis Marketing MD Don Ross said, “This nomination reflects our commitment to fostering meaningful trade relationships between India and Australia.”

In November 2023, Marquis announced a historic achievement with its first shipment of macadamias to India under the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA).

The inaugural shipment arrived in India just in time for the Australian Macadamia Festival, organised by the Australian Macadamias Society.

Funded by the Queensland Government’s Food and Fibre to Market: Industry Partnerships program, the festival was held in Mumbai, with Marquis Macadamias as a key supplier.

The Marquis Group is 100 per cent grower-owned. With two factories in Australia, Marquis Macadamias processes over 23000 tonnes of nut-in-shell annually.
