Murray Goulburn has changed the packaging of its shredded and block varieties of Devondale cheese.

They are now available in recloseable packs aimed at providing functionality that helps keep cheese fresh – a key concern for customers according to findings by the supplier.

In addition to this, the new shredded cheese packaging has also changed to a stand-up bag, with stronger and more prominent Devondale branding on pack.

This has been done to make it easier for customers to find the product on supermarket shelves.

The new recloseable block packaging is a format widely used in Europe, according to Murray Goulburn.
