A champagne maker has released its latest variety in a gifting case which can be hooked up to a smartphone for playing music.

Designed for the festive season, the limited edition Music Box houses the Lanson Black Label Brut NV from the family-run champagne house Lanson.

Consumers can dock their smartphone in the top lid, enabling an amplified sound when music is played from the device.

The Music Box combines visual elements such as the Maltese Cross and illustrated instructions to draw attention.

The House of Lanson and its winemakers have been crafting champagne using the traditional (non-malolactic) method for over 250 years.

The gift set has an RRP of $52.99 and will be sold through Dan Murphy’s from 9 November.

Sustainable packaging achievements were recognised at the APCO Annual Awards in Sydney last night. The event celebrated organisations, and individuals, driving change towards the 2025 National Packaging Targets and beyond. PKN was there.

Adamantem Capital is bidding to acquire Close the Loop Group. The board has recommended the offer, and is realigning itself, with CEO Joe Foster stepping down from the board, as are the chairman and CFO. Foster will become chief operating officer at the company.
