Cadbury’s Caramilk block has returned to Australian supermarket shelves this week, with the previous limited run so popular, Australians were listing the chocolate for 10 times the retail price online.

Caramilk is a hybrid of caramel and white chocolate, which has a smooth and creamy texture.

A limited run of the chocolate block in 2018 saw many consumers share their love for the product online, with one starting a petition to “'make Caramilk chocolate a permanent thing”.

“We’ve listened to the tens of thousands of Aussies asking us to bring Cadbury Caramilk back,” said Cadbury Dairy Milk marketing manager Katrina Watson.

“We couldn’t ignore their passion for our golden chocolate block, so we’re proud to be bringing it back.”

The Caramilk block is now available in supermarkets around the country for a limited time, with an RRP $4.80.

Packaging News

The World Packaging Organisation has named 234 winners for the WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026, which were selected from 481 entries submitted across 36 countries.

ACOR is calling on the Government to urgently introduce packaging reforms or risk the collapse of Australia’s plastic recycling sector and face millions of tonnes of plastic waste polluting the environment.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
