Italian aperitif Aperol has released its new Aperol Spritz Ready to Serve cocktails in glass ready-to-drink bottles this summer, celebrating the launch with a Sydney pop-up picnic venue.

The new RTD bottles are a pre-mixed cocktail using the “secret original Aperol recipe” and infused with citrus oil, featuring hints of herbs, roots, sparkling wine and soda.

It makes the “quintessential, orange, bittersweet cocktails” now easily added to the picnic basket, or for a “balmy summer day with friends”.

The new range comes in packs of three, with an ABV of 9.0%, and 1.3 standard drinks per serve. It is now available in liquor retailers nationwide.

To celebrate the launch, Sydney’s Terrace on the Domain will host picnic sessions from Wednesday to Sundays each week until 28 February from 12pm to 7pm. The picnics include a hamper with food and two Aperol Spritz Ready to Serve cocktails.

Packaging News

ACOR is calling on the Government to urgently introduce packaging reforms or risk the collapse of Australia’s plastic recycling sector and face millions of tonnes of plastic waste polluting the environment.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
