The 907-gram tub gained greater market share during COVID-19 lockdowns, as the need for portable single serve formats fell away. Chobani Australia general manager sales & category Julia Clark said the trend has continued into 2021.

“The significant growth we saw in the 907-gram range during March and April 2020 coincided with most nation-wide lockdowns, showing us a correlation between people spending more time at home and enjoying the multi-tub serves with their family. The trend has continued to remain strong so we are excited to bring more variety into the category,” Clark said.

The two new flavours join Plain Low-Fat, Plain Whole Milk, Vanilla Low-Fat, and Strawberry Blended Low-Fat Greek Yogurt.

The new flavours are available at Coles nationwide and independent retailers.
