Bulla Dairy Foods has added a Custard Tart flavour to its ice cream range.

The latest product of Bulla’s innovation centre, the product is made using fresh milk and cream.

General manager of sales, marketing and innovation Nick Hickford said Bulla was aiming for nostalgia with the latest launch.

“We love being creative and developing products that take tastebuds back in time," he said.

The new Bulla Custard Tart uses custard tart-flavoured ice cream, dipped in a choc coating and covered in crunchy biscuit pieces.

It will be available in packs of six nationally at Coles, Woolworths and independent supermarkets from this month.

Other ice cream stick combinations to date include Fairy Bread, Cookie Crumble, and Cookies & Cream.
