Coca-Cola South Pacific has launched a low-kilojoule flavoured sparkling spring water in Australia.

Called Glaceau fruitdropwater, it's made with four per cent real fruit juice as well as a small amount of sugar and natural flavours.

Aimed at the over-30 female market, the beverage launch has been designed for an Australian audience, according to the company.

"Research tells us that female water drinkers look for refreshing alternatives when it comes to their drinking repertoire, and we've found low kilojoule products resonate well with this audience,” Glaceau brand manager Gloria Young said.

Glaceau fruitdropwater flavours will include raspberry apple, pomegranate pear, and cranberry lime.
