A sweet partnership is hitting the shelves of 850 Woolworths stores, introducing Australia’s first edible and bakeable cookie dough created by Anna Polyviou and Charlie’s Fine Food Co.

The duo have partnered to create a cookie dough able to be eaten directly from the tub or baked. With the absence of eggs and use of heat-treated flour, the creation is an innovation and safe to eat raw.

The cookie dough is available in two flavours: Raspberry Donut flavour features a jam-filled centre, white chocolate chips and raspberry jelly pieces, and the Choc Brownie flavour is fudgy and indulgent, blending milk and dark chocolate topped with white chocolate chips.

Polyviou said she wanted to develop flavours that everybody loved and understood.

“Our cookie doughs give the freedom to create an array of baked treats, from warm and gooey cookies to cookie dough folded through ice cream, or rolled into balls and dipped into chocolate. Of course you can also just eat them straight out of the tub.

“It’s a dessert adventure that is ready to roll,” said Polyviou.

Jacky Magid, co-owner of Charlie's Fine Food Co. since 2004, said working in partnership with Polyviou had been a breath of fresh air.

“At the heart of this partnership is the vision to ensure cookie dough is a staple in Aussie homes, providing families with an opportunity to have fun and be creative in the kitchen, whether that is through baking or simply scooping the cookie dough directly from the tub,” said Magid.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
