Four Pillars have released its ninth annual vintage of Bloody Shiraz Gin, which the company says has become a cult gin phenomenon, both in Australia and overseas.

The 2024 edition of Bloody Shiraz Gin is made with gin and cool-climate Victorian grape juice macerating, extracting amazing colour and flavours, leaving citrus, dense raspberry notes and a spice character to finish. The fruit comes from both the Yarra Valley and Faraday, near Bendigo.

Four Pillars co-founder and head distiller, Cameron Mackenzie, said that the 2024 vintage was a bloody good one.

“What we thought was going to be a long, hot and dry summer turned into the exact opposite. It was mild, with cool nights and rain when we needed it. 

“Some say it’s the best since 1992, so let’s go with that!”

This year’s limited-edition Bloody Shiraz bottle features an etched tablescape design from Melbourne artist, Kris Leombruni. It showcases a busy table overflowing with food, drinks and fun.

Four Pillars states that the Bloody Shiraz Gin is best served as a gin and tonic, with a squeeze of lemon and a lemon slice garnish. 

Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin will be available to the Four Pillars database from 29 May, and available to the public from 8 June online at www.fourpillarsgin.com and the Gin Shops at the Four Pillars Healesville Distillery and Four Pillars Surry Hills Laboratory for RRP $84.

It will also be available at Hotel Windsor Group venues across Melbourne, where Kris Leombruni works as group beverages manager, introducing Bloody Shiraz at certain events between 15 June-13 July.
