FruChocs has launched a limited-edition vintage packaging revamp, featuring original designs from the South Australian confectioner.

While South Australian chocolatier, Menz celebrates the 75th anniversary of FruChocs, the brand will transport FruChoc fans back in time with a limited edition run of the retro packaging that sports the instantly-recognisable FruChoc orange in its original design.

Having been a firm favourite with chocolate-lovers across South Australia for over 70 years, the snack’s unique blend of apricot flavour and smooth chocolate has been a pantry-staple, with its popularity over the years leading to the brand becoming a household name.

Menz CEO Phil Sims said he hoped the vintage packaging would bring back memories for the older generations of South Australians who might remember the birth of FruChocs.

“To celebrate the 75th anniversary, we’re offering a trip down memory lane, enjoying FruChocs in a fun retro candy-stripe design, evocative of its original design from 1948,” said Sims.

The limited edition 75-year-old design is available from all supermarkets and independent retailers.
