The makers of The Man Shake and The Lady Shake have launched a new product, Restore, tailored to Australia's ageing population. It's available in two flavours, Chocolate and Vanilla.

Australia, like many other countries, is experiencing a significant demographic shift with an increasingly ageing population, with one in six Australians now aged 65 years or older.

The Man Shake and The Lady Shake Restore has been formulated for men and woman aged over 60, addressing what the company says are common nutritional challenges faced by older individuals.

The 50g serving contains:

  • 32g of muscle-supporting protein
  • 5.4g of dietary fibre
  • Probiotics for gut health
  • Leucine for muscle maintenance
  • Glycine to reduce inflammation

Adam MacDougall, the founder of The Man Shake and The Lady Shake brands, aims to shake up the market for individuals over 60 by introducing a product that serves as a perfect addition and catalyst for a healthier lifestyle.

He said that while other brands focus on providing supplementary nutritional support, intended to be consumed alongside a balanced diet, they often contain high levels of sugar and calories, which hinders weight support goals.

MacDougall said, “We wanted to offer a low-calorie option which was high in all the targeted and essential nutrients to strengthen and improve health, whilst achieving weight management goals – all essential to stay healthy and active and live a long and fulfilling life.”

The range is available exclusively from TerryWhite Chemmart with an RRP of $39.95 for a box of 10 sachets.

Packaging News

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.

Pact has reported a decline in revenue and earnings for the first five months of FY26, citing subdued market demand, as chair Raphael Geminder pursues settlement of the long-running TIC earn-out dispute.
