The newest plant-based product from v2food has hit shelves nationwide, with the release of its v2sauce – a ready-made Bolognese sauce.

Locally made in Victoria by pasta manufacturer 7Chefs, the v2sauce uses v2mince, along with tomatoes and traditional herbs.

“Life is busy and this delicious Bolognese offers a great solution for an easy but tasty plant-based midweek meal — without missing out on the authentic flavours we’ve come to know and love from traditional Bolognese,” said v2food CEO and founder Nick Hazell.

“For parents, there’s the protein you’d expect from Bolognese with the bonus of sneaking in additional fibre into mealtimes for fussy kids. It’s a win, win.”

The v2sauce has a 3.5 Health Star Rating and is available in 400 Woolworths stores nationwide.

It is available in 400g tubs for RRP $6.00.
