After a long awaited return to stores, Menz has begun rolling out the reimagined Polly Waffle, Polly Waffle Bites, which will replace the original bar permanently due to manufacturing complexities, expenses, and additional time required.

Menz acquired the rights to produce Polly Waffle in 2019 from Nestlé and spent the past several years researching and developing how to manufacture the product locally in South Australia.

The new format of the Polly Waffle was announced earlier this year, maintaining the same iconic taste profile well-loved by Australians but in a brand new bite-sized shape perfect for sharing.

Polly Waffle Bites feature bite sized pieces of vanilla marshmallow covered in milk chocolate with crunchy wafer pieces.

Menz CEO Phil Sims said it had been over ten years since customers last saw Polly Waffle on shelves.

“The team at Menz have been hard at work recreating the magic of Polly Waffle with a modern, bite-sized twist, and we appreciate the patience of the Australian public during this process,” said Sims.

The 125g bag of Polly Waffle Bites is available for RRP $5.50 at Drakes South Australia, Coles, Woolworths, independent supermarkets, petrol and convenience stores. The reimagined treats will be available at Menz’ FruChocs shops both in store and online.
