Beverage brand Fever-Tree have released Distillers Cola, saying whisky and rum have been in need of a premium cola mixer to complement their flavour profiles.

Using a selection of naturally sourced ingredients, Fever-Tree Distillers Cola is made up of Caribbean kola nuts, Tahitian limes, and a selection of distilled botanicals and spices. With no artificial sweeteners or colours, Distillers Cola has top notes of lime, spices and vanilla.

Fever-Tree says that a typical cola’s strong flavour profile often hides the flavour of spirits, and Distillers Cola has been designed to complement and elevate flavours.

Fever-Tree Australian brand ambassador, Trish Brew, said many people have mastered their personal use of mixers, but aren't as confident when mixing with dark spirits.

“Many people have mastered what to mix with their favourite light spirits but are confused when it comes to the world of dark spirits mixing.

“In Australia, half of all the spirits consumed are enjoyed with a mixer, and we always say if three quarters of your drink is the mixer, then you should mix with the best,” said Brew.

Fever-Tree Distillers Cola are available in 4 x 200mL packs from Dan Murphy’s nationally for RRP $9.49.
