Streets Ice Cream has re-released two Paddle Pop flavours from the past in time for summer.

Unilever, which owns the Streets brand, is taking consumers back to 2002 with the re-release of Bionic Bubble Gum following the return of Caramel Choc Dip earlier this year.

Marketing manager Scott Mingl said the decision was made in response to huge demand. There were also a large number of requests for a re-release of the classic Vanilla Paddle Pop (pictured), which has also been launched for a limited time in Woolworths only.

Bionic Bubble Gum is now sold in Woolworths, Coles and most convenience stores. RRP is $1.50 for a single serve, and $6.99 for the multi-pack.

The Australian Manufacturing Workers Union's (AMWU) is currently calling on the public to boycott the Streets ice cream brand over proposed enterprise agreement changes at the Streets facility in Minto NSW.

Adamantem Capital is bidding to acquire Close the Loop Group. The board has recommended the offer, and is realigning itself, with CEO Joe Foster stepping down from the board, as are the chairman and CFO. Foster will become chief operating officer at the company.
