World champion athlete Sally Pearson has been appointed as an ambassador for snack company Slim Secrets.

The Slim Secrets range is positioned as "rich in nutrients and ideal snacks for athletes between training sessions", according to founder and CEO Sharon Thurin.

“One of our brand’s goals is to emphasise the importance of smart snacking, and Sally is perfect to help us do that,” she said.

The partnership is part of the brand’s strategy to connect with strong female role models.

“Sally is recognised by Australians as a talented and dedicated role model who has risen to the top in her career," Thurin said.

The business also signed tennis great Angelique Kerber, pop star Avril Lavigne, and Bachelorette Sophie Monk in 2017.
