Two members of regenerative food and farming company Wide Open Agriculture's board have resigned, with non-executive director Elizabeth Brennan and company secretary Sam Wright stepping down.

Chair Anthony Maslin said Brennan's resignation had been planned for some time as the company moves to align with opportunities in the plant protein sector, and that she had made notable contributions and played a significant role during her four-year tenure.

"She was particularly adept at fostering partnerships and streamlining strategies to reinforce the board's mission," Maslin said.

Sam Wright had been with WOA since 2015.

"Over the years he has demonstrated unparalleled efficiency, a forward-thinking mindset, and the ability to navigate complex corporate challenges with ease. His contributions have ensured that the company's operational protocols are in line with industry best practices," Maslin said.

WOA CFO Matthew Skinner will be interim company secretary until a permanent replacement is found.
