Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is launching an Awards of Excellence program, to highlighting the outstanding performance and achievements of small businesses customers within their total business operations.

CCEP Australia VP Sales, Away From Home, Felicity Needham, said the awards will look at customer service and engagement within their local community through local charity supporting and/or participating in community groups or implementation of sustainability initiatives.

“Small business makes up about 97.3 per cent of all businesses in Australia and have a significant impact on their local communities.

“Not only are these businesses delivering delicious meals and friendly service to their local community, but they’re going above and beyond. Whether it be supporting their local sporting clubs, schools, delivering great customer service or implementing new recycling programs – these businesses truly care about the communities they serve,” Needham said.

She said the program was CCEP’s way of “recognising and celebrating local favourites, family-run businesses, and neighbourhood gems across Australia”.

Each month, five winners will be announced, one each from across the following groups:

  • New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory;
  • Victoria& Tasmania;
  • South Australia & Northern Territory;
  • Western Australia; and
  • Queensland

All Local Trade Small Businesses, excluding franchisees, are eligible for the CCEP Award of Excellence.
