Coles says it has permanently reduced prices by up to 32 per cent on 100 products in the freezer aisles in its latest Down Down and Deeper Down Down campaign.

According to the retailer, prices on 35 frozen product lines will go ‘Down Down’ and 66 products will go ‘Deeper Down Down’.

The retailer also said that over the past six years, Coles has recorded cumulative food and liquor deflation of 5.2 per cent. This means that compared to 2009, an average Australian household would save $570 this year by shopping at Coles.

John Durkan, Coles managing director, said: “Coles customers expect lower prices across the store, and with these new ‘Down Downs’ and ‘Deeper Down Downs’ hitting the freezer, shoppers will see savings of up to 32 per cent off some of their favourites.

“We are more committed than ever to offering our customers great value and great quality, and we’ll continue to keep bringing down prices for Australians in the coming months.”
