New companies and innovative confectionery and bakery products were to be found at the Cake Bake & Sweets Show last week.
The show is described as Australia’s largest event devoted to the world of baking, decorating and sugar craft and it was held at ICC Sydney at Darling Harbour, Sydney.
The show featured live theatre demonstrations by celebrity chefs including Adriano Zumbo and other experts in the field, to share the latest techniques and tastes.
The show's educational Sugar Lab was a key feature, along with chocolate master-classes, and cake decorating competitions and demonstrations.
For the first time the show featured a healthy living stage focusing on the creation of healthier treats.
The exhibition hall was full of sweet treats for foodies, families, cakers and bakers, and Food & Drink Business spoke to a number of exhibitors about their new products.
