Kellogg’s All-Bran High Fibre Muesli has been named winner of the Best Cereal in the 2014 Healthy Food Awards.

The company's recently launched Apricot & Almond variant scored the win in the breakfast cereal category, in the awards, which are run by Australian Healthy Food Guide magazine.

All-Bran Apricot & Almond High Fibre Muesli has 25 per cent more fibre than the average muesli, according to Kellogg, and is also low in sodium, is low GI and is a source of protein.

“All-Bran Muesli is an innovative breakfast option which we’re really excited about,” said Dr Michelle Celander PhD, senior nutrition & regulatory affairs manager for Kellogg Australia and New Zealand.

“Consumers are constantly searching for healthy breakfast options which tick all the boxes, so we wanted to develop a product which was not only delicious, but also functionally good for digestive health. It’s a great compliment having our new breakfast food recognised so quickly within the category.”

Kellogg’s All-Bran High Fibre Muesli is available in Coles, Woolworths and leading independent supermarkets nationwide. The RRP is $4.99 for 450g.
