Kooka’s Country Country Cookies has signed up Aussie Farmers Direct to sell its regionally manufactured product nationally.

The news follows a decision by Woolworths to stop selling the Regional Victorian biscuit manufacturer's range in all states and territories except Victoria and Tasmania.

“The team at Kookas are thrilled to announce that from today Aussie Farmers Direct will be supplying Kookas Country Cookies Australia wide,” the company announced on its Facebook page.

“Kookas believe that this will be an exciting time for both Aussie Farmers Direct and Kookas Country Cookies, two Australian companies working together to supply Australian people with quality Australian products.

“Thank you all again for your wonderful support it means a lot to all the team and it shows that people do care about Australian manufacturing and Australian jobs.”

Kooka's is a small Australian-owned business employing around 28 staff in the rural township of Donald.

Kooka's uses all Australian flour, jam, raw products and packaging and supplies major Australian supermarkets, as well as airlines and motels, and it also sells its products in Vietnam and China.
