The ‘Duffin’, a cross between a muffin and a doughnut, has been reintroduced by Muffin Break with a new Lindt chocolate twist in celebration of International Day of Doughnuts.

The Duffin is half doughnut, half muffin, and is made with layers of pastry, filled with melted Lindt creamy milk chocolate and a salty caramel Lindor ball.

The salted caramel Lindor ball at the centre of the Duffin is a dark chocolate shell with pieces of salt and a caramel flavoured centre.

International Day of Doughnuts, celebrated annually on 1 June, started in 1938 as a fundraiser for The Salvation Army in the United States. Doughnuts were served to soldiers to honour “The Salvation Army Lassies” of World War One.
