Egg producer and processor, Sunny Queen Farms has launched two new premium egg dishes for the food service industry that can be prepared in under 90 seconds.

The two new additions to its Everyday Gourmet Omelette range are Roasted Vegetable (made with eggs, roasted pumpkin, fire roasted corn, red and green capsicum and grilled onion); and Goats Cheese & Caramelised Onion (eggs, chunks of goats cheese combined with caramelised onion).

The company, which recently opened a new $13 million egg production facility in Brisbane, says it developed these in response to increased demand for “on-trend” flavour and ingredient combinations.

These new flavours add to an existing omelette range that includes Spanish, Ham & Cheese, Fetta & Spinach, Cheese & Chive and Original.

Both are made from fresh eggs that are pre-baked and packaged in an 80g size. They can be ready from frozen in 60 seconds, and are pitched at schools, hotels, caterers, hospitals and aged care, and airlines.

“With the growing popularity of the all day brekkie, omelettes are quickly becoming a tasty all day meal option; and with Sunny Queen Farm’s new Everyday Gourmet Omelette range, it’s so simple to serve up something a little more special,” the company says.
