Premium sauce and dressings company Birch & Waite recently pulled back the curtains on its new facility and world-leading processing technology.

Birch & Waite – which specialises in sauces, dressings, mayonnaise and desserts for foodservice, aged care and retail markets – says the plant is its platform to bring new food innovation to Australia. The company predicts this will drive over $20 million in growth by allowing it to tap into new niches.

The new $13.5 million factory in Revesby has some innovative new processing technology – including the Southern Hemisphere’s first commercial-sized shaking retort.

The Revesby facility's new thermal processing technology, plus other innovative features, were specifically scoped to capitalise on Australia’s future food trends.
